The Graduate Trainee Visa is part of the Global Business Mobility routes, designed for employees on a structured graduate training programme who need to transfer to a UK branch of their employer for a placement as part of that programme.
Structured Programme — Must be on a genuine graduate training programme leading to a senior management or specialist role.
Salary — Minimum £24,220 or the going rate (whichever is higher).
Employment — Must have worked for the overseas employer for at least 3 months.
Up to 1 year, extendable by 1 year. Maximum stay: 2 years. Does not lead to settlement.
