Citizenship Areas
The Parent Visa allows you to come to or stay in the UK if you are the parent of a child who is a British citizen or settled in the UK. You must demonstrate either sole parental responsibility for the child, or that you have access rights to the child and are actively involved in their upbringing.
Relationship to Child — You must be the parent of a child under 18 who is British or settled in the UK.
Sole Responsibility or Access Rights — You have sole responsibility for the child, or the child normally lives with you, or you have direct access rights ordered by a court.
Financial Requirement — Same minimum income threshold as the partner route.
English Language — Required at specified levels.
Granted for 33 months, extendable. Leads to settlement after 5 years.
