The Innovator Founder Visa replaced both the Start-up Visa and the old Innovator Visa from April 2023. It is designed for experienced entrepreneurs who want to establish an innovative, viable, and scalable business in the UK.
Endorsement — You must be endorsed by an approved endorsing body that assesses your business idea as innovative, viable, and scalable.
Business Plan — A detailed business plan demonstrating how your idea is new or different to what already exists in the market.
English Language — B2 level.
Financial Requirement — £1,270 available funds (or endorsing body confirmation).
No minimum investment — Unlike the old Innovator visa, there is no £50,000 minimum investment requirement.
Initially granted for 3 years, extendable for a further 3 years. Can lead to settlement (ILR) after 3 years if your business meets specific milestones.
